JACK  CONTENCIN

After starting the trumpet in 2005 through a school program in WA, Jack moved to Wollongong and proceeded to play in as many bands as he could.  From the Wollongong Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra to the ISER Touring Ensemble and Southern Stars Orchestra, Jack honed his craft and love for music from playing and learning from those around him.

Jack prides himself in his flexible approach to teaching which he has acquired from his own teachers and mentors as well as his own musical experiences. Jack's love of helping others is shown through his passionate committment to tutoring the next generation of musicians as well as his Bachelor in Psychology which he hopes to one day use to broaden his horizons into Music Therapy.
