Sophie Wilson

Sophie has played the violin since the age of seven. Ever since she saw a girl play the instrument at a school talent show, she quickly decided that’s what she wanted to do. She both learnt the violin and teaches her students via the Suzuki method, which combines the development of sight reading and aural skills. She quickly grew a love for violin and classical music, and carried this passion through high school and joined several school orchestras and string groups to learn how to play with other instrumentalists. Sophie hopes to share her love of the violin and music with her students, so they can create the many memories and opportunities she was able to experience.
