Jack Contencin

About Jack

After starting the trumpet in 2005 through a primary school program in Western Australia, Jack moved to Wollongong in 2006 and proceeded to play in a variety of bands, from the Wollongong Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra to the ISER Touring Ensemble and Southern Stars Orchestra. Jack honed his craft and love for music from playing and learning from those around him.

Jack prides himself in his flexible and fun approach to teaching which he has acquired from his own teachers and mentors through the years. Jack's love of helping others has been shown through his passionate commitment to tutoring the next generation of musicians for the last 13 years.
