About Paddy

Paddy has been playing music for over two decades, starting on piano at age 5 before picking up violin from 8 years old. She has always had a passion for playing music and dabbles in a wide variety of instruments and genres. Her particular musical specialties revolve around jazz and contemporary music, and she has a great deal of experience performing for events ranging from weddings to musical theatre to jazz showcases. She has previously tutored jazz violin at Jazz Workshop's Jazz Camp, and can be found playing with the South Coast Big Band as well as her sometimes originals project - the Human Laser Experiment. Paddy hopes to share her love of improvisation with learners of all skill levels, particularly for an instrument that doesn't as often get the opportunity to shine in a more modern setting. She strongly believes that playing music is a joy that anyone can learn, no matter their age or previous experience!
